Ximena Vibes’ Fairytale Wedding at The Breakers

Our GL Bride of the week is the lovely Ximena Vibes, who wore our Georgia gown. Ximena and her fiancé held a romantic fairytale wedding at the legendary Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. In the following interview, she shares with us the details of her special day and how she knew our Georgia was the perfect gown for her.

How did you meet your husband? Tell us a little bit about your relationship.
I met Timo on a blind date, set up by a mutual friend. From the first embrace, we had a connection like we were together in our previous lifetimes. We felt this peace that time has stopped. We are together for one year and a half now and are very happy.

How did he propose?
In the golden hour on July 3, 2018, facing the famous rocks of Capri (Italy), Timo got on his knees and proposed to me saying: “You want to be with me for all of our lives.”

Where was your wedding?
At the wonderful Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida.

How did you find your perfect dress? And how did you decide to buy it?
I found my perfect wedding dress at Chernaya Bridal, it was the first dress I tried on and it was just perfect as I felt like a princess.

What was the theme? Did it require special planning? Share with us.
The theme was inspired to be a Fairy Tale. Yes, we had the most amazing A team with all the planning, Mauricio Kirschner and Sara Renee.

How was your experience with the Galia Lahav brand?
My experience was amazing, what a talented designer.

Where did you purchase the dress?
At Chernaya Bridal, Miami, Florida.

What did you enjoy the most about planning your wedding?
Planning all the details, from the dress, floral designs, food, and music, it was a complete journey with many trips to complete to fulfill the grand finale.

What advice would you give to all our future GL brides?
I would like to tell all future GL brides that the most important advice in choosing your wedding dress is to follow your feeling on what you would like to feel like on your big day, not how you want to look like. My dress made me feel like a classy, elegant yet sexy princess.

Was your wedding the way you dreamed it?
Better, everything went perfect, I felt like I was in a fairy tale, which went by too fast, which I never wanted to end.
