We’re so excited to introduce our beautiful GL Bride Summer, who wore the unforgettable Veronica gown for her wedding at the Powel Crosley Estate. With custom details, bold entertainment, and even a surprise appearance from her beloved Great Dane, Maddox, her day was as joyful and unique as her love story. From samba dancers to a magical grand entrance surrounded by friends and family, every moment was filled with energy, laughter, and pure celebration.

"The minute I put it on, I knew. I couldn’t believe it."
A moment of your wedding day you’ll never forget:
I’ll never forget seeing my dress inside the venue for the first time and putting it on. Our grand entrance was also amazing, with all our friends and family already on the dance floor waiting for us when we arrived. We got to start the party by dancing with everyone, and it was just so much fun. It really set the tone for the night.
One thing you wish you knew as a new bride? What advice would you give to future brides?
Really, remember to be in the moment. You only get one shot at your wedding day, so try your best to live in every moment. If that means passing responsibilities to your bridesmaids so you’re not stressed, do it!
Also, I strongly recommend hiring a content creator. I was able to go back and relive the entire day, and there were so many things I didn’t recall because the day goes by so fast. Most importantly, spend time with your new husband. The day is about the two of you. Yes, say hello and spend time with your loved ones, but make sure you stick with your man the whole night. This was advice I was given, and I’m so glad we followed it.
A detail that made your wedding special/unique:
We had a dress code filled with specific colors that matched our florals, and asked guests to dress funky and fun! We also had samba dancers, which were SO much fun for us and our guests.
How did you know your dress was 'the one'?
I came to the trunk show fully prepared with a list of dresses I wanted to try on. The Veronica was actually on the list as a “try something you may not like” option. But the minute I put it on, I knew. I couldn’t believe it—it was the third dress I tried on. The sheer sides made it sexy, but it was still so tastefully and thoughtfully made. The detailing was insane; I had never seen anything like it. I went on to try 30 more dresses that day, but I came back and bought the Veronica the next day.
How did it feel when you put on your dress on the day of the wedding? What was everyone’s reaction to the dress?
My mouth literally unhinged from my jaw. I had bought the dress a year prior, and I fell in love with it more every time I saw it. It fit the venue so well and made me feel like an angel.

Would you have done anything differently?
Honestly, no! I loved every part of our wedding.
What was your favorite part of the wedding to plan/were you most looking forward to?
The entertainment! We used Rock With U and selected “The Fusion,” which is a mix of DJ and live band. The crowd absolutely LOVED IT. They were interactive with us and our guests and super organized. I loved our samba dancers too—we were really focused on keeping our guests entertained, and I think we delivered.
How did you meet your husband? How did he propose?
We met on a run! As for the proposal, it was truly one of the best days of our lives and the best surprise weekend ever. Mike (and my Maid of Honor, Ali) really put in the work to make it happen perfectly. Everyone crushed it, even dodging me tracking their locations (because one thing about me—I will find you! Just kidding. Kind of.)
Our friends Casey and Hunter were in town, and it was the perfect cover to get me dressed up. Casey told me to look super cute so we could get good pics for Instagram. So, I put on fun pants, curled my hair (which I never do), and got ready for the night. We had both been wildly sick with bronchitis that week, but by Friday, I felt better. Mike suggested we walk our dog, Maddox, to the pier before dinner. I was in heels, but I agreed. Little did I know—30+ friends and family were watching from Doc Ford’s, waiting for him to pop the question. We got to the end of the pier, he got down on one knee, and I blacked out! I just know I started hysterically crying and said, “I’m going to throw up!” Photographers popped out of the bushes, and our family came running down the pier. Afterward, we took boats out and partied into the sunset, ending the night dancing in our pool. It was everything.
How did you find working with the team at Galia Lahav?
So good! They were amazing with the custom changes I wanted to make to the Veronica gown and executed everything flawlessly.
How many dresses did you try on before you found it?
It was the third dress I tried on, but I tried more just in case. I tried on about 15 Galia Lahav dresses - how’s a girl supposed to decide?
Anything else you'd like to share?
I surprised my husband by bringing our dog, Maddox, to the wedding! We didn’t think it would be possible - he’s a Great Dane, and transporting him an hour away was going to be challenging. But my daycare worked with me and brought him for cocktail hour. It was so special.
