Fast forward three years, and Dougie proposed to Jamie in what was to become their wedding venue, a breathtaking Malibu house belonging to a friend. Jamie describes Malibu as ‘the most beautiful place in the world’, and it is clear to see why! Planning the wedding is part of the joy of getting married, and Jamie made sure to soak up every minute of it, planning each detail with care and ensuring their love shone through every moment.

Their wedding was filled with wonderful and unique moments, including a podcast interviewer who interviewed guests during cocktail hour, a carbonara station and even a tattoo artist doing custom flash tattoos during the reception.

The moment that she put it on on the morning of the wedding, it finally sank in; her wedding day was here. As Jamie’s best friend, who had been by her side at every fitting, buttoned the dress up they both cried, seeing their childhood dreams come to reality and knowing that she was on the threshold of her happy ending.
