An Enchanted Forest, A Dress Meant to Be, and a Love Story That Started in High School
This week, we're thrilled to spotlight Irze — a radiant bride whose wedding felt like something out of a fairytale. With hand-crafted white flowers suspended from the trees and a love that lit up the entire celebration, her wedding was a joyful blend of natural magic and heartfelt emotion. From the moment she slipped into her Galia Lahav gown — the very first dress she tried on — Irze knew she had found the one.
What followed was a celebration filled with laughter, personal touches, and an overwhelming sense of calm happiness. In this exclusive Q&A, Irze shares the moments she'll never forget, the advice she'd give to future brides, and the story behind her off-road forest proposal (yes, you read that right).
Get to know the bride who made her wedding day feel like a dream come true — twice.
״The one advice I got that worked the most: It is your day, so do not be involved in anything stressful!״

A moment of your wedding day will you never forget?
I’ll never forget the moment I realized how calm and purely happy I was (on my wedding day). I was not feeling stressed, anxious, or anything-just so very happy; my cheeks were hurting at the end of the day!
One thing you wish you knew as a new bride? What advice would you give to future brides?
The one advice I got that worked the most: it is your day so do not be involved in anything stressful!
I learned how to say “no” to minor issues and just kept on smiling. At the end of the day what matters the most is how joyful we were as a couple, not the minor mishaps.

A detail that made your wedding special/unique?
Definitely the hand-made white flowers hanging from the trees. They lit up the forest and gave us all a feeling of being in a real enchanted forest.
But if the details do not need to be tangible, then definitely me and Murat (my husband’s) happiness and laughter! All the guests were telling us that seeing a couple this happy made them forget about all the
other things to begin with!
How did you know your dress was the one?
The moment I wore it. It was the first dress I tried on, and the girls helping me out brought the most amazing Galia Lahav dress asking me to please try it on since they have been wondering who would be able to wear such an amazing dress!
It was unnecessary to try the other ones since it was love at first sight and we all started comparing all the others with this dress at the time. I love the fact that it is actually multiple dresses in just one!
״The dress caught attention every time I wore it. Even when there were other brides-to-be, they all loved
this dress more than what they had chosen! ״

How did it feel when you put on your dress the day of the wedding?
What was everyone's reaction to the dress?
The dress caught attention every time I wore it. Even when there were other brides-to-be, they all loved this dress more than what they had chosen! (I really did get this comment!) Our family elders had tears in their eyes when they first saw me, but the groom’s reaction was my favorite- he was totally in awe!
Would you have done anything differently?
Nothing. I love every second of the whole three days of the two weddings we had- I would not change a moment for anything. We did two separate weddings for our family friends and ours, so it was double the fun! (and trouble :))
How did you find working with the team at Galia Lahav?
Everyone was telling me that this dress was made for me and that I was one of the prettiest brides
they’ve ever seen, so I wanted to show the team how happy they made me through their delicate work of art.

What was your favorite part of the wedding to plan/you were most looking forward to?
Saying “yes!” since I believe that it is the moment where we all gather for!
But the moment passes by so fast it actually is a very small part of the gathering!
How did you meet your husband? How did he propose?
We met in high school but started dating only a few years back.
He proposed in the middle of the forest while off-roading! It was weird to drive a huge truck in a muddy forest with a ring on my finger, but I love the fact that he did it in his own way. We do not have many videos etc as a memory but it is one that we’ll cherish forever, since it represents who we are as a couple.
How many dresses did you try on before you found it?
This was the first dress I have tried on honestly!
But after that to make sure (that I am sure of my choosing) I tried on probably 10 dresses after.
