From honoring her late mother with a heartfelt tribute to finding “the one” after trying on more than 30 gowns, Anaies’ wedding was a celebration of love, beauty, and unforgettable moments she’ll cherish forever.

A moment of your wedding day will you never forget?
A moment from my wedding day that I'll never forget was walking down the aisle and seeing my husband standing at the altar with the biggest smile on his face. In that instant, I felt like time stood still. I knew it was a moment I’d want to relive forever, so I made a conscious effort to soak in every detail—his smile, the way he looked at me, and the sheer happiness in that moment.

One thing you wish you knew as a new bride? What advice would you give to future brides?
One thing I wish I knew as a new bride is how much the little moments matter after the wedding day. It’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of planning and the big day itself, but the real magic happens in the everyday moments of married life. I would advise future brides to focus on building a strong foundation of communication, patience, and understanding early on. The wedding is just the beginning, and the true joy comes from growing together through the highs and lows. Also, don’t forget to take time for yourselves as a couple, even when life gets busy—it makes all the difference.

A detail that made your wedding special/unique?
My mom passed away two years ago after a battle with cancer, and I really wanted to find a meaningful way to include her on our wedding day. I decided to place a photo of her from her own wedding day on our sweetheart table. It felt like she was with us throughout the entire night, watching over us and sharing in the joy. Every time I glanced at the photo, it reminded me of her love and the strength she gave me. It was such a special, personal touch that made the day even more special.

How did you know your dress was 'the one'?
I must have visited almost every bridal boutique in Los Angeles before my final stop at Galia. I saved it for last because, deep down, I had a feeling that it was where I would find my dress. When I tried on the Rene gown, I immediately felt like it was made just for me. It had every detail I’d dreamed of, from the floral details, to the perfect silhouette. When I walked out to show my family and friends, their faces said everything—there was no doubt in my mind that it was the one. I had never felt so beautiful and confident in my life, and I knew that’s exactly how I needed to feel on my wedding day.

How did it feel when you put on your dress the day of the wedding? What was everyone's reaction to the dress?
When I put on my dress on the day of the wedding I felt like a princess. I truly felt like the gown was designed just for me because it was exactly what I dreamed I would wear on my wedding day. Everyone was blown away when they saw me in my dress, and everyone confirmed that I did in fact look like a princess!

Would you have done anything differently?
No, I honestly wouldn’t have done anything differently. From the moment the day began to the last dance of the night, it was everything I dreamed of.

What was your favorite part of the wedding to plan/you were most looking forward to?
My favorite part of the wedding to plan was definitely the flowers. I had a very specific vision in mind, and I was so excited to see it all come to life. When we did our first look, walking into the space and seeing everything perfectly set up was a moment I’ll never forget. The flowers were absolutely stunning, and I honestly felt like I had stepped into a dream.

How did you meet your husband? How did he propose?
I met my husband at a sorority party in college, and from the moment we met, we just clicked. We haven’t spent a single day apart since then. Fast forward five years later, and on the same day I had planned a surprise party for his 30th birthday, he totally turned the tables and surprised me with a proposal. He led me up to the rooftop of our apartment, where he had set up the most romantic scene—flowers, candles, and a live violinist playing my favorite song. It was absolutely magical.

How did you find working with the team at Galia Lahav?
I absolutely loved my experience at Galia. Anthony was incredible—he helped me find the dress, and he just knew exactly what I would fall in love with. Throughout the alteration process, the team was so patient and kind, making sure the dress fit me perfectly. I felt truly taken care of every step of the way, and I couldn’t have been in better hands. In the end, everything turned out absolutely amazing, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience from start to finish.

How many dresses did you try on before you found it?
Probably 30!
