She enjoyed her day in the timeless elegance of Chateau Pleasentdale, wearing a breathtaking Opera dress and creating unforgettable moments surrounded by love, family and joy. We had the pleasure of speaking with her about her journey to “I do,” her experience finding the perfect dress, and the memories she’ll cherish forever.
"I knew my dress was the one the moment I saw a photo of it."

A moment of your wedding day will you never forget?
I will never forget seeing my husband tear up as I walked down the aisle. It felt like a dream, with just him and I. It was the most magical moment.
One thing you wish you knew as a new bride? What advice would you give to future
brides?
The wedding day will fly by so enjoy every moment of the wedding planning process and being a fiancé! Although it can be stressful at times, you will cherish the memories you have of those approaching months.
How did you know your dress was 'the one'?
My favorite flower is a peony but because our wedding was in August, they unfortunately were not in season. Instead, we used David Austin Roses which closely resemble a peony but are a touch more unique. I had these in my bouquet and could not stop staring at them!
I knew my dress was the one the moment I saw a photo of it. The Galia Lahav L'étoile collection had just been released, and the Opera gown caught my eye instantly. It was everything I had been searching for in a dress, but nothing I could find. When I finally tried it on, I knew I would be getting married in this dress.

How did it feel when you put on your dress the day of the wedding? What was everyone's reaction to the dress?
It was the best feeling in the world putting my dress on the day of the wedding. It fit like a glove and I never felt so beautiful. I remember looking in the mirror and thinking, wow, am I in a movie? Everyone was enthralled with the gown. My best friend said it perfectly, it is the ideal combination of classic and elegant but still modern and clean.
"When I finally tried it on, I knew I would be getting married in this dress."

Would you have done anything differently?
Looking back on my wedding day, there is not one thing I would have done differently. It was perfection.
What was your favourite part of the wedding to plan/you were most looking forward to?
I was most looking forward to the ceremony and sharing my vows with my husband. I knew it would be magical walking down the aisle lined with flowers, up to a gorgeous chuppah with my husband standing underneath, and my loved ones in the audience witnessing our love.

How did you meet your husband? How did he propose?
I met my husband on a dating app in NYC, Lox Club! He proposed one year after we started dating in Key West, Florida. We went on a weekend getaway and he proposed by the water with just the two of us. It was very special.
How did you find working with the team at Galia Lahav?
The team at Galia Lahav was wonderful. They are extremely talented.
How many dresses did you try on before you found it?
I tried on about 50 dresses before I found my gown. Every dress had something I liked so I kept saying, “I wish I could take this part from this dress and incorporate it with that part of the other dress”. It wasn’t until I saw the Opera Gown from Galia Lahav that I finally said, “this has everything I want”.
