Adleigh’s Magnetic Ibiza Wedding

Today's GL Bride is the gorgeous Adleigh, who found the one in both love and fashion. She walked down the aisle in our G-201 gown - a perfect match for her breathtaking wedding on the magnetic cliffs of Es Vedra, Ibiza. With a week-long celebration, a Lion’s Gate wedding date (8/8/24 at 8 PM), and a love story that began at Burning Man, Adleigh’s wedding was truly unforgettable.

Join us as she shares the details of her special day and her GL Bridal journey!

A moment of your wedding day will you never forget?
Walking towards my husband down the aisle as the sun was setting over Es Vedra and my husband made a custom song for the ukulele player to play!

One thing you wish you knew as a new bride? What advice would you give to future brides?
Since we had a destination wedding, I do wish that we went at least a few days to get settled and get into the vibe of the island. Everyone ended up getting to the villa before us, but turns out they had the best welcoming for us ever! Champagne and hugs all around. So really… everything always works out as it should.

3 pieces of advice:
If your friends & family live all over the world, try to have a week-long wedding celebration like we did! Best decision ever!
Everything always works out as it should. So do all of your planning ahead of time but once you’re there just unplug and enjoy.
We had our friend come for the week and photograph everything! Our sound bath, pool days, tennis game, sexy shoot morning of, the wedding & reception and even the boat day! So many amazing memories captured!

A detail that made your wedding special/unique?
Our venue & timing was so special to us. We chose Es Vedra, Ibiza to say I do, Es Vedra is one of earth’s most magnetic points.

We chose Lion’s Gate August 8, 2024 (888) at 8pm. My husband's life path number is 8 as well! We started planning only 7 months earlier and we had to organize a destination wedding for 30+ people traveling from all over the world. So being able to get everyone together within that time frame and achieve angelic numerical greatness, gave me such a sense of accomplishment, comfort, and grace. I feel like divine power was on our side. My heart swells right now just thinking about how blessed we are to have had the wedding of our dreams with our tribe by our sides.

How did you know your dress was 'the one'?
It fit me so perfectly that I didn’t need to make any alterations. It felt like it was already mine! What an incredible feeling it was. There is nothing like feeling both at home and also like a brand new woman in your wedding dress.

How did it feel when you put on your dress the day of the wedding? What was everyone's reaction to the dress?
I felt like it was already a part of me, I felt so divine and comfortable, it was hard to take off at the end of the night. I’m actually wearing it as I type this to you! Our officiant and my best friend cried and said I looked like an angelic Madonna goddess. Everyone loved the dress but said that the veil flowing in the wind on the cliff was the dramatic actor the ceremony needed!

Would you have done anything differently?
If I could have done something differently, I would have bought a second Galia Lahav dress for the reception! And I would have hired a private driver(s) to drive us around for the whole week. We had private bus transfers on the day of the wedding and it was so much nicer than all of us splitting up in different cabs/cars.

What was your favorite part of the wedding to plan/you were most looking forward to?
Anthony (hubby): the ceremony, seeing my wife in her dream dress, hearing her vows…
Adleigh (wifey): Marrying my husband again and rewriting my vows after 2 years of marriage. It was VERY emotional. Also having our tribe together in one big villa for the week, loved all of us being together!!! So much fun and so much quality time. It’s so much pressure getting married and just having one day to spend with all of your loved ones. I really wanted enough time to soak it in.

How did you meet your husband? How did he propose?
Our meet-cute:
We love this question! We met a year after my mom passed away. I asked for a sign, a partner, for the love of my life, and I met him at Burning Man! A weeklong musical and arts event in Nevada. He magically shared my mom’s birthday (January 1st) and the night we met we didn’t stop talking. It felt like I had known him my whole life and yet he was new and exciting and full of stories! He also was everything I had asked for - well traveled, silly and fun, full of stories, deeply loving, caring and generous. The list went on. We dated long distance while I lived in LA and he was in NYC. Our second date was in Cabo for my best friend's birthday. He got on so well with my friends that he invited me on our second date… to Amsterdam! I was so thrilled. I’d never been and this meant I was going to meet his friends. We were so deeply connected right away, when he proposed 3 years later, it was the easiest yes of my life. We got married at Burning Man in 2022, where we met 3 years to the exact day. We also spread my mothers ashes on the playa so she could be there with us! I’ve been going to Burning Man for 7 years and so many of our tribe was there supporting us too. It was a very spiritual moment.

The proposal:
We bought a house together in 2022, so on our road trip across the USA, he proposed to me at the absolutely stunning Garden of the Gods Hotel in Colorado. I was so surprised and blown away!!!
I’m a creator, videographer & director, he knows how important it is to me to capture our memories so he had our waitress film and also a whole table of lovely tourists visiting the USA for the first time. It's amazing that he got two angles!!! In the video you can hear them cheering us on too, very cute.

How did you find working with the team at Galia Lahav?
Loved my experience! I remember the first time I saw Galia Lahav in person, it was in 2014. My modeling agency at the time was hired for your production of "Million Dollar Wedding" in San Diego. Filmed at the marina with yachts and at the La Valencia hotel. My model wore a dress with pearls down the arms and spine. It took my breath away. I couldn't believe a dress this unique, creative and delicate, existed! I knew then and there that one day I would get married in Galia Lahav.

How many dresses did you try on before you found it?
32 dresses! Nothing was right because I knew in my heart I was going to find the perfect Galia Lahav dress.
