Taelor Clark’s Romantic Lake Como Wedding in Our Splendid Gown

For Taelor Clark, Lake Como was more than just the setting for her wedding. It was a place filled with meaning for her and her husband, who had proposed to her in that very same spot two years earlier. Returning to a place so special to their relationship made their wedding day even more memorable.

From the beautiful lakeside setting to the thoughtful details planned for their guests, every part of the celebration was designed to create an unforgettable experience. But for Taelor, nothing compared to the moment she walked down the aisle.

“It was the best day ever! I felt like royalty.”

— Taelor

Taelor and her husband first met on social media through mutual friends, and their story eventually brought them to Lake Como, a place that had already become so meaningful to them. When it came time to plan their wedding, returning to the lake made their wedding feel even more meaningful. Taelor loved planning the events and thinking through every detail, with a focus on the experience her guests would have throughout the celebration.

When it came to finding her Galia Lahav gown, Taelor attended a trunk show at Destiny’s Bride in Scottsdale, Arizona. After trying on around six to eight gowns, she found the one that felt as though it had been made just for her. She knew immediately. On the wedding day, she was especially excited to see the gown again with the bolero she had made to complete the look. The moment was emotional, with everyone around her in tears. For Taelor, the final look made her feel like royalty, exactly how she had always wanted to feel on her wedding day.

“It goes so fast and you can’t really take it all in, so just try to be in the moment.”

— Taelor

Looking back, Taelor wouldn’t change a thing about the celebration. Her advice to future brides is to enjoy every moment and try to stay present, because the day passes faster than you expect. With so much happening around you, taking the time to appreciate the little moments can make all the difference.
