Ever wondered what it feels like to design your own wedding gown? Luckily for you, Galia Lahav offers a total customization service whereby you can either design a gown from scratch with our design team, or customize a gown from one of our collections.
We wanted to showcase this through a fun social project with the help of our Instagram followers. Through a series of polls on IG stories, our followers voted for all aspects of a wedding dress, from the sleeves, to the silhouette to the fabric and the beading. The gown was totally one of a kind and designed from scratch!
We then decided to document the entire creation process, from the mood boards and theme, to the sketching all the way to the cutting, sewing and decoration. We wanted to include all aspects of the process, even the parts where things didn’t go as planned!
This three-part vlog series showcases the work and time that goes into creating each and every gown, and we hope that it can give some of our future brides-to-be some insight into how their custom gown will be created.
