A moment of your wedding day will you never forget?
The moment of my wedding day I will never forget is that we exchanged vows in a quaint town in Spain and news of our wedding had spread throughout the city. On the day of our ceremony, the entire town turned out to witness our arrival and lingered to see our departure. It was an incredibly surreal experience.
One thing you wish you knew as a new bride? What advice would you give to future brides?

One thing I wish I knew as a new bride: It’s even sweeter on the other side. When you marry the right person, marriage supercharges the love you already had together.Advice for Future Brides: I received sound advice from my meditation teacher: “Set one intention that you want to carry with you throughout your wedding day.” My intention was to be fully present with my guests who had traveled far to be there with us. The intention setting worked because I still remember the whole day so vividly.

A detail that made your wedding special/unique?

My father, who passed away two years ago, had a great relationship with my husband. It was heartbreaking that dad couldn’t be present on our wedding day. In a touching gesture, my sister-in-law presented me with a pin adorned with my dad’s photo, designed to attach to my wedding bouquet. This allowed me to walk down the aisle with him in spirit. My brothers stood in for him physically, yet I felt my dad’s presence bless us spiritually.

How did you know your dress was 'the one'?
After countless hours of browsing dresses online, I realized that Galia Lahav was my dream designer. The moment I laid eyes on the Querida dress, I knew I had to have it. The cutouts transformed a traditional lace wedding dress into something both sexy and sophisticated. It was like finding my soulmate in the form of a dress!
How did it feel when you put on your dress the day of the wedding? What was everyone's reaction to the dress?

I was flooded with immense gratitude that such a beautiful dress could exist and that I could be the one to wear her for the most special day. The details and the fit were absolutely perfect. My friends and family could not stop commenting on the details. When I looked into my husband’s eyes, he was clearly blown away and had tears in his eyes — I certainly attribute those tears to the wedding dress!

Would you have done anything differently?
Absolutely nothing in the world. It couldn’t have been more perfect.
What was your favourite part of the wedding to plan/you were most looking forward to?

Having all of my favorite people from around the world convene in our favorite city. This truly made planning so easy because it felt like I was planning our ideal vacation for our friends!

How did you meet your husband? How did he propose?

How we met: Totally organic! I became friends with a gal in pottery class and her husband was best friends with my husband.

How did he propose: He spontaneously planned a trip to Sedona and organized a challenging hike, starting ridiculously early in the morning. As we reached the top of the cliff, the view of hot air balloons dotting the horizon at sunrise was utterly breathtaking. Then, he proposed. A photographer, already there, captured the moment, and a small crowd that had gathered recorded our engagement.

Keep in mind, he’s not usually one for planning, so the fact that he had arranged this trip was a surprise in itself. The realization that he had also arranged for a photographer to secretly capture our special moment at the hike’s summit was impossible to predict.

How did you find working with the team at Galia Lahav?

Adored the team. All of my questions were answered and carefully cared for. I knew right then the quality would be as good as the customer service.

How many dresses did you try on before you found it?

Would you believe me if I said zero? From the start, I knew I wanted an a-line ball gown and focused on four key attributes: unique style; shape; bodice; and detailing. That’s when I saw Querida and knew right away that this dress was the one. Every detail was immaculate and aligned with my vision.
