Our Head of Marketing, Lynn Schenirer, Wore Two Custom Galia Lahav Looks Designed for Her Own Love Story
Written By Lisa Chorna
After years of helping brides around the world find the dress, it was finally Lynn Schenirer’s turn.
As Galia Lahav’s Head of Marketing, Lynn has spent nearly a decade immersed in the world of bridal couture, working closely with brides through some of the most emotional and meaningful moments of their lives. But when it came time to design her own wedding looks, the experience became something far more personal.
Lynn married David Schenirer on New Year’s Eve in an intimate celebration surrounded by their closest friends, family, and the Galia Lahav team she considers family. Their love story, recently featured in Vogue, began unexpectedly at a wedding in the summer of 2024 and quickly turned into something undeniable. Within months, the couple moved in together, got engaged in Paris, and began planning their wedding.
Shortly after setting the date, Lynn discovered she was pregnant.
While it wasn’t originally part of the plan, the news transformed the experience into something even more meaningful. Rather than hiding her changing body, Lynn embraced this new chapter fully, allowing it to shape the vision behind both custom couture looks.
“After seeing every kind of bride, every silhouette, every fabric, I knew I wanted to feel like myself,” Lynn shared in Vogue. “I didn’t want to feel like I was wearing a costume.”
Working hand in hand with Head Designer Sharon Sever, Galia Lahav herself, and the atelier team, Lynn created two completely different looks for the night, each representing a different side of her story.
For the ceremony, she wore a draped long-sleeve gown designed with soft structure and effortless elegance in mind. The silhouette featured a low draped back, fluid fabric, and delicate Swarovski crystal detailing scattered organically across the sleeves. Designed carefully around her growing pregnancy, the gown reflected everything Lynn envisioned: understated, emotional, and deeply personal.
Her second look marked the transition into celebration.
A fully hand-beaded Swarovski crystal two-piece set featuring tailored pants and a structured jacket brought a bold, modern energy to the evening. The sparkling look captured the joy of the night and reflected Lynn’s desire to create something she could wear long after the wedding itself.
“What I loved most was that it still felt like me,” Lynn shared. “It felt authentic.”
For the Galia Lahav team, the experience was emotional from the very beginning. From revealing her pregnancy during the design process to seeing the final looks come to life, every fitting carried an added layer of meaning. The atelier adjusted every detail with precision and care, waiting until the final weeks before sewing the gowns to perfectly fit Lynn’s changing body.
The result was not only two couture looks, but a wedding wardrobe rooted entirely in love, trust, and personal connection.
After years of helping bring countless bridal visions to life, watching Lynn step into this chapter herself felt incredibly special for everyone involved.
Congratulations to Lynn & David on a beautiful wedding and growing family.
