Our #GLBride Gabriella looked breathtaking in our custom Holly Gown
Her mother, Heather, is a member of the #GLfamily and owner of the White Bridal Boutiques – White of Dublin, our esteemed retailer, as told by Gabriella:
"My mom started carrying Galia Lahav in 2016. I’ve always loved Galia and knew in my heart she would most likely be my designer."
We got married at Boone Hall Plantation and Gardens in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, just 20 minutes outside of Charleston. As I mentioned, my mom started carrying Galia Lahav in 2016, and my family also took its first family vacation to Charleston, South Carolina in 2016! Who could have predicted that my future wedding dress designer as well as my future wedding venue would all be found in the same year! It was the same location from my favorite movie – The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks! I said right then in there that one day I wanted to get married here!
The story of how I found my dress is really kind of funny! My mom (Heather DiMasi) owns White Bridal Boutiques – White of Dublin, just outside of Columbus, Ohio and White Of Raleigh in a beautiful little area called City Market in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. She has carried Galia Lahav since 2016 at White of Dublin. I’ve always loved Galia and knew in my heart she would most likely be my designer. We had planned to have my mom, 3 sisters and grandma help me with my wedding dress shopping experience, but since my mom owns bridal shops and I’m around all of the beautiful dresses, we thought it best that we go into the shop to narrow the selection down before having everyone else come in.
"My mom always says to her brides that although you go looking for a dress, many times the dress finds you! It was true! Galia’s Holly found me!"
I am 5’ 1” and always thought I would wear a fitted wedding dress because I thought a fuller gown would overwhelm me. Little did I know that when my mom pulled an A-lime with a basque waist that it would be the one
How did you two meet?
It was June, 2020 in the heart of the pandemic. My family is from Ohio and we needed to get away. So, last minute, we planned a family vacation to the Outer Banks in North Carolina. While there, I met the most amazing guy on the beach – that was Max! It was completely unexpected and wonderful!

In addition to these technical solutions, we have also made a commitment to providing clear and easy-to-understand information on our website. This includes using simple and straightforward language, providing alternative text for images and videos, and including clear and detailed product descriptions.
