Dive into the essence of timelessness with Galia Lahav Couture's Spring 2025 Collection, "The Stunners."

Inspired by iconic Pre-Raphaelite muses, this bridal range melds Victorian daring with modern-day majesty, offering a tribute to the era's revolutionary women artists through exquisitely crafted gowns.

Pre-Raphaelite artist, poet and proto-feminist Elizabeth Siddal is resplendently immortalized in the works of Dante Gabriel Rosetti, Walter Deverell, William Holman Hunt and the famed John Everett Milliais’ 1852 painting, “Ophelia.” Her contemporary, Marie Spartali Stillman, held a groundbreaking six-decade long career as an influential painter in the establishment-bucking Victorian era art movement

Two decades later, these 19th Century trailblazing multihyphenates continue to weave a riveting tale through their unparalleled craft and achievements — also inspiring Galia Lahav House of Couture for Spring 2025. Aptly named “The Stunners,” the upcoming bridal collection pays homage to bold groundbreakers, like Siddal and Spartali Stillman, who grasped control of their narratives to become icons in their own right

“We were moved by the captivating stories of these strong, influential women who defied norms and stood out with their unique style and personality,” says Galia Lahav Head Designer Sharon Sever. “This collection is a celebration of their legacy, embracing the spirit of empowerment and individuality.”

Women artists were integral to the Pre-Raphaelite revolution, which emphasized realism through brilliant colors, vivid details and precise brushstrokes. So, the Spring 2025 confections depict the tenets of the transformative art movement through a mélange of alluring hues on luxurious fabrics, such as, a dramatic blush peau d’ange, an opalescent silk mikado and vintage lace in an elegant ivory

A majestic pannier-style overskirt, augmenting a sultry corded French lace mermaid silhouette — and a powder pink organza butterfly organza cape, shimmering atop a deep plunge and corseted bias-cut gown — express the avant-garde marriage of Victorian opulence and 21st Century innovation

In line with Pre-Raphaelite principles, Galia Lahav’s renowned couture craftsmanship underscores the significance of sincerity and individualism on such an important day. The Stunners collection boasts exquisite elements, like intricate laser cut 3D fabrics, splendid crystal and glass beading and blossoming handmade floral embellishments. Sculptural shapes, such as contouring mermaid, free-spirited A-line and spectacular ball gowns, summon mythical goddesses harnessing their power, as often depicted in Pre-Raphaelite works

Versatile and convertible options, including hand-beaded or lace opera gloves, an ethereally sheer bolero dotted with delicate florals and gorgeously adorned veils of varied lengths, allow brides to convey their own enthralling personas — just as Siddal and Spartali Stillman expressed through their stunning art and life accomplishments, which forever inspire
