Bride Of The Week: Chloe Lloyd

Bride Of The Week: Chloe Lloyd

This week's GL Bride is the beautiful Chloe Lloyd. The British model wore a custom backless GL gown covered in intricate floral lace detailing.

With the help of wedding planners from Lamp Productions, Lloyd put together a stunning ceremony at Aynoe Park, a beautiful 17th -century house in Northamptonshire that was rebuilt and restored to its former glory after the English Civil war. It was against this naturally beautiful backdrop that Lloyd and Cuthbert tied the knot, with the bride donning a custom backless GL gown covered in intricate floral lace detailing.

Lloyd said she’d always dreamed of wearing GL at her wedding. “ I used to pin the collections onto my Pinterest board and chat with friends about how beautiful the dresses were,” Lloyd said. “My experience was perfect! They were so, so lovely and extremely talented. They just knew exactly what I wanted and did it with total ease.” Working with a designer to create the perfect look meant Lloyd got exactly what she wanted for her big day. “I adored it! It was everything that I described,” she said. “I was shocked at how perfect it was. It’s like they knew exactly what I meant.”

Cuthbert told Lloyd that they’d be engaged within a year, and true to his promise he proposed the year after they met. “He’s not much of a planner or great at organizing things, so when I found out he had been secretly ring shopping I was shocked. He proposed on a trip to Venice, Italy,” Lloyd said.

The “unknown” was the hardest part of the wedding plan, as Lloyd had only been to one wedding—as a teenager. “I had absolutely no clue about what was needed at weddings or what was ‘good,’” she revealed. Everything I planned was from my own mind and ideas!” She added, “The most difficult parts were the logistics like allocating rooms and seats for family members.”

At the end of it all, the most cherished part of any wedding is the love that’s celebrated. For Lloyd, that meant witnessing “all of my family and friends having the time of their lives. They still haven’t stopped talking about how amazing it was, and I know that the memories will last forever for all of us.”
