Bride Of The Week: Cassandra

Mark and I met when we were in college, so we are true college sweethearts. We were friends for a while before we realized how much we truly had in common. Funny enough, I was the one that made the first move by inviting Mark to be my date for a social event. We were inseparable ever since.
"I knew I wanted an elegant, sparkly, and corset style dress"
When I got engaged, I knew I wanted an elegant, sparkly, and corset style dress. I searched far and wide (literally all of NYC) to find the dress I was envisioning. I came across ads for Galia’s new store in Soho, NY and knew I had to schedule an appointment. Coincidentally, the day I scheduled, Galia herself was there! I spoke with her and we took photos, it was awesome.
While I was looking through the racks, I found so many beautiful and incredibly designed dresses, and when trying each one on, I felt it in my bones that I’d be a Galia bride. After about 5 dresses, Galia had showed the dresses that she brought to display her new collection. Each one so unique, but yet not my vision. Then she showed me the Euphoria dress.
As soon as I lifted that dress on the hanger I knew it was gonna be the one, I said “yes to the dress” almost immediately. Galia herself had told me that she wasn’t even planning to bring this dress and it was actually in her personal suitcase. I then found out I was the first person to purchase this Euphoria dress in the US. The whole day was magical and Galia and her team were extraordinary.

The day of the wedding, I was so worried about the weather. The forecast said rain, heavy winds, and super cold temperatures for October. I prayed that the day would still feel as whimsical and magical given the weather forecast. I was also so concerned that the details of the dress would be overshadowed by the rain and the gloomy skies. I was devastated. Now looking at my photos, the Euphoria dress not only sparkled but it truly shinned.
My ceremony was in a barn and I had asked my florist to make the barn feel like an enchanted forest, not only did the florist exceed my expectations but the way that my dress fit in so magically, and how the gloomy skies made the barn feel beyond magical and whimsical, will forever be a core memory.
The details of the dress shinned through so elegantly and flawlessly. Now looking back, I wouldn’t have changed a single thing, even if I could. The beautiful and unique design of the dress, complimented my whole vision and definitely exceeded all of my expectations.
