A moment of your wedding day will you never forget?
A moment from my wedding I will never forget would be my first dance with my husband. We spent months practicing our dance and as someone who isn't the greatest dancer, I was so nervous to do it in front of all of our guests. However, when the time for us to get out there came, all the nerves I had melted away and we did it better than we ever had while practicing.

One thing you wish you knew as a new bride? What advice would you give to future brides?
One thing I wish I knew as a new bride would be, don’t stress the small things. My advice would be, the day goes by so quickly so don’t waste any time being unhappy about trivial details. What truly matters is you and your husband.

A detail that made your wedding special/unique?
A detail that made my wedding unique is that I got married on Halloween! My husband and I bonded throughout our relationship over our shared love of the holiday so it was so special to be able to incorporate it into our big day. Also, now having our anniversary on Halloween is such a plus for us!

How did you know your dress was 'the one'?
I knew my dress was “the one” because of how I felt as soon as I tried it on. I had gone to another bridal shop and tried on countless dresses there and none of them felt like me. However, as soon as I tried on “Denise”, I felt like it had been perfectly designed for me.

Would you have done anything differently?
I would not have done anything differently on my wedding day. While I know there are a few minor things that went wrong, I feel like I had a perfect day.

What was your favorite part of the wedding to plan/you were most looking forward to?
My favorite part of wedding planning was the dress shopping experience! I feel like once that part started, everything felt real. As a little girl I always dreamed of some day getting to shop for my wedding gown so when the time came, I was thrilled! Also everyone at Galia Lahav was so kind and welcoming. Jackie specifically was so amazing when I was trying on dresses. She made the experience so fun; It felt like I was hanging out with a friend.

How did you meet your husband? How did he propose?
My husband and I met the old fashioned way: On tinder! He proposed while we were on a birthday trip for me to Cape May, NJ. We were at a restaurant called “The Lookout” and once we finished having dinner he said he wanted to go for a walk on the pier. As we got to the end of the pier, there was a beautiful basket with champagne, glasses, a card and a dozen roses. While I was reading the card, he got the ring from his back pocket and proposed! I was so shocked as I thought the trip and the basket were just birthday gifts for me. I had no clue he was going to propose. It was a magical day!

How did you find working with the team at Galia Lahav?
I loved working with the team at Galia Lahav! I would (and already have) recommend shopping at Galia Lahav to anyone getting married or going to a special event. I know the team has to interact with numerous brides on a daily basis but by how attentive they all were, I felt like I was the only person that mattered. I felt like they all genuinely cared!

How did you find working with the team at Galia Lahav?
I tried on at least ten dresses at a bridal shop in New Jersey a month before I came to Galia Lahav. Once there, I tried on Paloma and Maya and with those two, I knew I was at the right dress shop; I knew my dress was in that store. “Denise” was the third dress I tried on and I was instantly in love. I actually had scheduled two other appointments at two separate dress shops in Manhattan but once I tried on my dress, I immediately called to cancel my other appointments. I knew I did not need to look any further.
