Today’s GL Bride of the Week is Bambi, who wore the effortlessly romantic Flavia gown from the Ivory Tower collection. Her wedding was filled with meaningful moments- from a father and father-in-law dance that united two families to a lighthearted Shoe Game that had everyone laughing. With its light, intricate detailing and unexpected silhouette, her gown was love at first sight - especially when she discovered it had been photographed in the very place she planned to marry. Fate, it seems, had always been a part of their love story.
"It was light, airy, and still intricate."

On my big day, I wore Flavia from the Ivory Tower collection. I felt this dress was so unique - it combined multiple styles in one. It was slightly see-through but still offered coverage, featured an A-line shape from the waist, and had a body-conscious underskirt. It was incredibly light and airy, yet still so intricate.
When I said yes to the dress, the very first thing I did was come home and Google pictures of it.
My visit to Kinsley James was actually my first time there, and Galia Lahav just happened to be having a trunk show. I hadn’t seen the dress before that moment. When I later discovered the campaign photos of the dress - and saw that they were taken in the exact same place we planned to get married - it felt like a sign. Nostalgically, it just confirmed for me that it was the right choice.

I met my husband through work - I worked at a hotel and he lived next door. We saw each other nearly every day and became close friends. But after I got promoted to another hotel, we lost touch for almost a year. That’s when fate intervened, and we ran into each other again.
The gathering of our two families was an incredible feat, especially since I planned everything myself from America. But on the day of the wedding, the most special moment was sharing a first dance with both my father and father-in-law. For me, it symbolized the bond between our families. Looking over at my husband - who happens to be disabled - smiling from the edge of the dance floor, filled me with so much happiness.
We also played the Shoe Game (Mr. and Mrs.) on stage, which was such a fun moment. It was hilarious not being able to see each other’s answers, but seeing our guests’ reactions made it all the more memorable.
