10 Flawless Beauty Looks To Take Inspiration From This New Year’s Eve

The party season is upon us, and while that means a bustling diary, a constant flow of Champagne and very little downtime for some, it definitely requires some dedication when locating the perfect New Year’s ensemble. That’s why we’re delighted to introduce our Belle de Jour collection and the beautiful, elegant autumn winter beauty trends we recommend you to wear with them…

A calligraphed envelope has landed on your doorstep, you’ve saved the date, and you’re excited to celebrate the happy couple, but finding the best wedding guest outfit to wear to the nuptials can be tricky.

And while there’s a lot to think about, picking the perfect style doesn’t have to be stressful. Whether it’s a formal black-tie affair or the focus is on the decadent all-night party, there’s something for everyone at Galia Lahav. From statement gowns to sleek jumpsuit alternatives or head-turning party looks, making memorable moments has never been easier.

Lourdes
Our Lourdes Dress combines masculine structure and tailoring up top, together with feminine feathers and a crystal bow buckle below, and your beauty look should follow suit. Keep hair soft and tousled by applying Lernberger Stafsing Leave-In BB Cream to damp hair to control frizz and add separation. While makeup should be simple with cashmere soft skin and a touch of glistening Tom Ford Cream and Powder Eye Colour in Fleur Neige across the lids. This juxtaposition beauty look, spotted at Dries Van Noten, saluted effortless glamour.

Nicolettte
Think of Nicolette as the ultimate white tie dress, which should be saluted perfectly with a loose Hollywood wave and immaculate make-up. Take inspiration from Kate Spade, where models were given fantasy smokey eyes, bold burgundy lips, and ethereal mermaid waves. Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Eye Shadow Palette features warm and rusty shades to suit all skin tones. Pair with Guerlain's Rouge G Limited Edition Lipstick, which comes in an extravagant studded case, ready to be seen at all public engagements.

Aimée
Our flirty and frisky Aimée mini dress is complemented with unexpected and exaggerated flutter sleeves - take a nod to this in your make-up look. Compliment a strong berry pout, using Stila Liquid Lipstick in Paradiso, by adding a shocking neon pink eyeshadow to the inner corners of the eyes. Watch how the pigment brightens eyes and adds an ode to the Adeam catwalk where tear ducts were embellished in pearls.

Gabrielle

Gabrielle
Our stunning Gabrielle color block gown needs little introduction, which is why makeup and hair should be kept minimal and classic, but with a spruce of something unexpected. Take inspiration from Carolina Herrera’s AW19 catwalk beauty look where models' flawless faces were enhanced with outer corner eye flicks. Create the look with Dior’s Diorshow On-Stage Eyeliner in Matte Pink. Brush brows into place and add a subtle sheen to lips with Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip Rich Lustre.

Josephine
Sky blue, silk neckties and side slits, nothing says seventies more than our Josephine dress, but it’s how you wear your makeup that will bring your look into 2020. Keep skin clean, fresh and slightly sculpted, as seen on the Brandon Maxwell catwalk, but bring the drama to the eyes. Individual lashes, like these from Sweed x Nikki Makeup collaboration, are easy to apply and stay put for 24 hours. Once your lashes are in place, pile on layers of NARS Climax Mascara for a wide-eyed look.

Corinne
The lady wearing our Corinne gown is confident, strong and fierce. Compliment the sharp angles of the corset dress and embroidered features with angular eyeliner, a huge trend on the winter catwalks. Using It Cosmetics Superhero Liner, you can get the most precise edges and pristine flicks, as seen at Dolce & Gabbana and Dior. Keep the rest of the eye bare to ensure the liner takes centre stage. Although typically a more summery shade, pink reigned across the autumn-winter catwalks and at Salvatore Ferragamo different shades of fuchsia, blush, and magenta were all worn together.

Chloe
Adorn the Chloe dress with effortless skin using Shiseido Synchro Skin Self Refreshing Foundation, that keeps skin beautifully flawless all night. And finish with Gucci’s Rouge À Lèvres velvet matte lipstick in Valentine Fuchsia.
Fleur
Our Fleur oversized silhouette created in this typically feminine colour comes complete with a masculine twist when paired with slim black streamlined pants. The ultimate pairing is a typical feminine hairstyle, the ponytail of course, which can be updated with one of winter's biggest trends- hair accessories. On the Christian Siriano catwalk hair was pulled back into a neat, low pony - we recommend Larry Kings Social Life For Your Hair serum, to keep flyaways at bay- while elegant, yet masculine chains - were looped in to feed through from scalp to tail. Lelet NY Chain Chain Pearl Comb is the perfect catwalk copy.

Francine
Heading out for a special New Year’s celebration, then our Francine ball gown is for you. Enhance your bare décolletage with a hairstyle that requires all hair up. As spotted at Erdem, models hair was perfectly twisted into a super sonic French roll, spritzed with layers of hairspray, we recommend IGK 1-800-Hold-Me Hairspray for supreme shine, and adorned with bedazzled hair clips. Follow suit with this ruby lip brooch that can be neatly assembled above the nape of the neck. It’s the easiest way to thrill.

Clementine
The flowing lady Clementine maxi dress has us reminiscing of the gorgeous Audrey Hepburn, a starlight to us all. So pair the sheer lipstick print gown with a cat eye smoke using shades of coal, then sprinkle it with one A/W’s biggest trends: glitter. Spotted at both Rodarte and Halpern, makeup artists embellished smokes with generous amounts of sparkles. Our favourite, Glossier’s Gelee in Bijoux Bijoux.
