Bride Of The Week: Angelina Malavenda

News

Our beautiful GLbride of the week is: Angelina Malavenda. She wore the Snow White gown from Les Reves Bohemians collection and she really looked like a princess.

Angelina and her husband met when they were 19 years old, at their sophomore year of college at Michigan State University. After dating for 8 years, Angelina’s husband proposed on a gondola in Venice, Italy (OMG a dream) and got married the following year, having a magical wedding.

After that everything was just so smooth… like destiny. Angelina and her mom went to their first store for wedding dress shopping, at Roma Sposa Bridal Evening Atelier in Birmingham, Michigan and she fell in love with the Snow White the minute she saw it hanging. It was the first dress she tried on, and even though she tried on others, she kept dreaming about it since the first time she put it on. So she returned… they all knew it was THE ONE! Angelina told us that the dress was perfect for her, a princess feeling with much timeless class but yet a touch of sexiness- Angelina said: “I wouldn’t have felt our day was complete without it!” And also for the ceremony, she wore our lace trimmed cathedral length veil, which definitely added to the dramatic effect of the dress and also while walking down the aisle.

When we asked Angelina about her favorite part of the wedding, we loved her answer since it was wearing our gown and the veil… and of course, marrying her other half. Moreover, she loved the moment when they did their grand entrance to the main dining ballroom to see all the hard work play out with all the details and how everything came together perfectly. Angelina described it as a surreal, magical feeling walking into a room filled with so much love and joy radiating from their guests (and this is exactly what makes it such a special day).

Angelina loved planning her wedding day, which embodied her taste, as well as her husband’s and her personality. The ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner were elegant affairs and afterward, they had another ballroom that was set up like a mini nightclub with white couches and light cubed tables to break loose and have MORE fun! As if all these don’t sound like a dream yet, they had all the details you can imagine and more. Personalized calligraphed menus, a pianist during the cocktail hour, a painter who created a beautiful canvas painting of the dining room scene, three ballrooms, a photo booth, and much more!

Sounds like a movie and Angelina looked like a superstar! We wish this #GLcouple happiness and love forever!
