Bride Of The Week: Alexandra Van Kamp

Our beautiful #GLbride of the week is: Alexandra Van de Kamp. She wore the romantic #Arabella from Le Secret Royal collection and shined like a diamond.
Every little girl dreams of her own fairy-tale and living happily ever after.
This is the story of Alexandra and her prince charming David.
As many fairy-tales begins, Alexandra and David first met at a party. As soon as they were introduced, they just couldn’t stop talking and both hoped for the party to never end.
A few months later, Alexandra decided to join David in Florence for a weekend gate away and they choose to stay at Le Villa Maschere, a 16th century Villa which captured their blossoming love. It quickly became their special place.
As a real life prince charming, one weekend, David decided to book a secret trip to Monaco and took Alexandra to one of the most beautiful hostels there. They spent wonderful days there and Alexandra was so happy but the best was yet to come. On Saturday night, David had booked the entire restaurant just for them and was about to take one of the most important decisions of his life: spending eternity with the woman he truly loves. As soon as he got on one knee and popped the question, Alexandra burst with happiness.
The following day, David took Alexandra to Swissport where another surprise was yet waiting for her, have you guessed what it was?
David had a private jet waiting to take her to another secret destination! She didn’t find out where they were going until they landed, in Florence. He had taken her to their special place where their love truly started: Le Villa Maschere.
They couldn’t have found a more perfect place for their wedding venue. They met with the manager on the next day to set a date, and it was a dream come true.
Finding the perfect dress came naturally to Alexandra, it was always Galia Lahav. For her, Galia was the epitome of romance. When she heard about Galia Lahav’s trunk show at Browns Bride in London, she quickly registered to attend it. She had a few designs in mind so she asked to meet the gifted in-house designer Sharon Server to discuss the lace, colors and shape. Sharon surprised her by asking her to try on a dress she hasn’t considered at first. But that was it, as soon as she saw her reflection in the mirror, she felt divine like it has been made for her. Perfection is an understatement; she fell in love all over again but this time it was with the Arabella dress.
During the different fittings, everybody was so enthusiastic and talented, Alexandra felt like a real life princess.
Concerning the wedding planning, it all came very naturally. They both shared a vision of a celebration of their love and commitment in the presence of their friends and family.
Finally came the day of their wedding and it was just enchanting. The senses overload, the fragrance of the flowers, the peaceful sound of the Tuscan country side … Can you picture it? All she wanted to do was to take in the moments and consciously cherish them.
For Alexandra, the ultimate moment was her entrance. The bridesmaids walking in, the string quartet playing, the natural light cascading behind her and then the bride stepped in into the Chapel. As soon as David’s gaze landed on her, he couldn’t help but say “wow”. Everything faded in the background and all he could focus on was her. The feeling of love was overwhelming; it was truly euphoric.
Alexandra’s wedding was everything and more that she could have imagined, and as crazy as it may sound, not a single detail went wrong.
David and Alexandra couldn’t be more thankful to the people that contributed to making their most precious dream come true.
