Meet our beautiful bride Heidi who recently had a fairytale wedding in our Isadora gown. She sent us her breathtaking photos from her magnificent wedding thanks to the talented photographer Tony Gigov. It was such a pleasure for the team to see how fabulous Heidi looked on her special day and to know that we had a special contribution to such a heartwarming moment in her life. We had the opportunity to get exclusive details about Heidi’s wedding day. Find out how she found her dress, met her husband, and the highlight from the ceremony below!
1.With so many bridal options today, what was the deciding factor when it came to picking out your gown?
About one year ago I saw Galia Lahav’s show at the Bridal Fashion Week on the internet. The wedding gowns with the unique lace details captured me immediately. It was quite clear to me- this is my idea of the perfect wedding dress. I want to get married in one of those dresses! I visited a shop in Munich where I found my Isadora gown, called “White Silhouette”.
We both met while going out- not really spectacular but the moment I first saw him and looked into his eyes I knew he was the one! He looked at me in a way no man had ever done before and it didn’t take long for the both of us to realize we were meant to be together forever.
3.Where did you get married and can you tell us about your wedding day?
We got married in a church in lower Austria, called “Sonntagberg”. It’s located on top of a hill from where you have a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape. The ceremony was accompanied by a small band which furthermore made our wedding day so special.
The second part of our wedding took place in a hotel next to the river Ybbs. The special thing about our location was the view through the big glazed windows- you were able to catch a glimpse of the beautiful castle on the other side of the river.
After dinner we released a hundred lilac balloons with wedding congratulations from our guests into the sky- It was a breathtaking view watching the balloons float away as the sun was setting. As a fun addition we provided a photo booth for our guests- directly printed out photos to decorate our guest book! I am really happy about this idea because now and then when Philipp and I look through the book it is not only a beautiful memory but also really funny and makes us laugh a lot.
About midnight there was a big surprise- Philipp organized a fireshow. I really have to say that I’ve never seen anything like this before. It was very special and I also think that our guests were totally fascinated. Altogether our wedding day was absolutely perfect and for me it was the most special day of my entire life.
4. What was the highlight of your special day?
For me personally the most beautiful moment was entering the church alongside my father. My soon to be husband looked at me the same way he had the day we first met. It was such a breathtaking moment. Stepping up to the altar, amazed by the beautiful church and seeing all my loved ones had me close to tears.
