Bride of the day : Dannon

For today’s post, let us introduce you with our so charming bride, Dannon, who got married during sunset at the Jupiter Lighthouse, a historic site in Jupiter, Florida, which aged back to the 1800’s. She wore our Pricilia gown which fitted her like a glove! She told us everything about her magical day in a private interview that we are delighted to share with you along with stunning pictures! Check it out!

1. With so many bridal options today, what was the deciding factor when it came to picking out your gown?

After trying on many dresses at several different stores I found the dress I had been looking for while on Pinterest. Once I found the dress on the Galia Lahav website I looked for a store closest to me which was Boca Raton Bridal.

2. How did you meet your husband and how did you know he was the one?

I met Sean on January 7th 2011 at a local pub named Connolly’s, our friend who is in a band was playing there that night. Sean and I were introduced by our best friend Charlie, he was also the person who married us. I knew he was the one soon into our relationship. It was a date night for us and we were headed to the county fair, one the way there is when I knew. He and I were in the middle of a dance competition in the truck and as I stopped to look at him, I instantly got a feeling that he we was the one I could spend forever with.

3. What was the highlight of your special day?

The highlight of my day was walking down the aisle towards the man I was about to marry and hearing him say ” I do”. The smile on his face is a smile I will never forget, it has been instilled in my mind and will always be apart of me. Sean and I wrote the full ceremony with our own words so that made it more special than the traditional ceremonies I have seen.

4. Can you tell us a fun anecdote about your wedding day?

With the ceremony being outside at the Jupiter Lighthouse during sunset we had to rush to take all of our photos. By time we got to the reception venue which was about 2 miles down the road it was dark out. Once the limo dropped us off at the reception site my father had to drive his truck over as we needed to use his headlights to bustle the dress. Additionally my friend Alyson came to the reception site to fix/touchup my makeup using the headlights for lights as well. Thompson Photography was there to capture this hilarious moment, the photo I received from them shows 3 girls bustling my dress while one is doing my makeup with headlights shining on me.

5. Did everything go as you dreamt it or planned it? Or did something unexpected happened?

Everything about the day went better than I imagined. I was given the best advise before the wedding, which was “don’t sweat the small stuff and don’t put your vision on a pedestal.” I had a vision but did not put expectations on it, I was scared I would be disappointed if something bad happened. By doing that the day was WAY better than what I expected. Everything came out beautifully, I married my best friend and celebrated with our family and closest friends.
