Meet our GL Bride Of The Week, the stunning Haruna, who exuded timeless beauty on her wedding day in our Esme gown! With a picturesque outdoor ceremony, Haruna and her fiance celebrated their love in style with family and friends. In the following interview, Haruna shares her most cherished moments and how she found "The One." As told by Haruna:

A moment of your wedding day will you never forget?

Our first look! I’ve never been so nervous in my life! The moment he turned around I burst into tears.

One thing you wish you knew as a new bride? What advice would you give to future brides?

The earlier the better! I feel like I sent out invites on the later side and I wish I would’ve done it earlier so I wasn’t stressing so last minute. Even the decor and putting things together I feel like the week before was a little hectic for me.

A detail that made your wedding special/unique

I designed all of my bridesmaid dresses and got them made for each girl! I feel like that made it so special since the girls got to choose their design and it was made to their exact size.

How did you know your dress was 'The One'?

I had actually bought a different dress prior to “The One”. I came across the dress online and I knew it was literally me in a dress. I went to the store and tried it that week. It was a done deal the second I put it on.

How did it feel when you put on your dress the day of the wedding? What was everyone's reaction to the dress?

It was a dream come true. I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I felt like a princess in it and everyone was so in awe!

Classic simplicity at its finest. My friend Syndie later even told me she and her boyfriend bet what kind of dress I would be in and she said Haruna is gonna choose a classic, elegant, chic piece and she was totally right!

Would you have done anything differently?

Absolutely not! I did forget we had a photo booth till the end of the night so I wish I would’ve made it there sooner.

What was your favourite part of the wedding to plan/you were most looking forward to?

The details! The details were my favorite planning process. The menu cards, escort table, bridesmaid dresses, all of our butterflies…Just so magical.

How did you meet your husband? How did he propose?

We met in 2017 working at a restaurant together. Back then I was a host and he was a busser!! He proposed during our trip to Tokyo at this gorgeous restaurant overlooking the city. I had no idea and it was the biggest surprise yet!

How did you find working with the team at Galia Lahav?

They were amazing! My dress came super fast and my process was seamless.

How many dresses did you try on before you found it?

20+ at other stores…. but it was my first one at Galia.
