For today post, we have the pleasure to introduce you to our bride Jennifer who got married at the Westbury Manor in Westbury, New York. As she told us herself and by the look of the pictures below, her wedding was a complete fairy tale.

Our so pretty and lovely bride wore our Fiona gown , a silk satin dress, richly adorned with lace applique, which fitted her like a glove! Look for yourself and learn more about her special day!

I saw an ad of the Galia gown and thought to myself, this is the dress!

With so many bridal options today, what was the deciding factor when it came to picking out your gown?

As a young girl, I always pictured wearing a unique dress on my wedding day. I had gone dress shopping, but did not find anything I was in love with. I saw an ad of the Galia gown and thought to myself, this is the dress! As soon as I tried it on at Bridal Reflections in New York City, I knew it was the one for me.

How did you meet your husband and how did you know he was the one?
My husband and I met in Connecticut on September 16, 2006. I was attending Quinnipiac University and he came to visit some of his friends. We locked eyes and I knew right away, he was the man for me. He proposed on May 3, 2014 and we got married this September after 9 years of dating!

Our wedding day was the best day of my life.

Where did you get married and can you tell us about your wedding day?
I got married at Westbury Manor in Westbury, New York. Our wedding day was a real life fairy tale. I loved the whole day – waking up early for hair and make-up, driving to church with my father, and walking down the aisle. After the ceremony, we released white balloons on the steps of the church and then went to Old Westbury Gardens for photos. I truly enjoyed every second of the day. I wish I could go back and do it all over again. Our wedding day was the best day of my life.

The highlight of my special day was walking down the aisle and feeling like a princess.

What was the highlight of your special day?

The highlight of my special day was walking down the aisle and feeling like a princess. I loved the ceremony and exchanging vows with Michael. Being surrounded by family and friends who traveled both near and far to celebrate with us was amazing. Hearing the different speeches from my sisters, the best man, his sister, as well as his father were so touching.

I was so happy with the way the train of the Fiona gown looked half bustled and fully bustled – it looked great throughout the whole day!

Can you tell us a fun anecdote about your wedding day?

Because the train of my dress was so beautiful, I was obsessed with having people help me with it. I had my sister-in-law in charge of bustling my dress and I had chosen one of my bridesmaids to help me fix and adjust my train. Two days before the wedding, that bridesmaid sprained her ankle! In the end, I ended up asking my cousin to spend the day with the bridal party in order to help me make sure that the train looked beautiful. I was so happy with the way the train of the Fiona gown looked half bustled and fully bustled – it looked great throughout the whole day!

Did everything go as you dreamt it or planned it? Or did something unexpected happened?

My wedding day was everything I had dreamt of and more. It was a day full of love, laughter, and amazing family & friends. All the planning and hard work was worth it. I was so happy with my photographer and videographer – my pictures and videos are priceless. I have such joyful and happy memories of my wedding day.
