On Nov. 4, all eyes were on singer and former One Tree Hill star Jana Kramer, taking the spotlight and literally sparkling in a stunning navy blue sequined Galia Couture gown as she walked the red carpet at the 2015 CMA Awards in Nashville, Tennessee.
Backless with a dramatic mermaid train, the custom creation in the Madison style made from layers and ruffles of tulle and vintage lace with embroidered lace appliqués and crystal embellishments showcased Jana’s beautiful curves—and a visible baby bump.
Jana, who married football player Mike Caussin in May, is expecting their first child, a girl, in early 2016, and as all pregnant women know, it’s not easy to find eveningwear that’s both flattering and comfortable when you’re six months along.
But for Jana, who wore a custom-made Norma gown from the Galia Lahav “Tales of the Jazz Age” bridal collection at her wedding, choosing a designer to make the showstopper she wanted for the CMAs was an easy decision.
“Galia Lahav did an amazing job making my wedding dress and I felt so gorgeous in it,” Jana told us. “I knew she would be the perfect designer to custom make my CMA dress. The dress was stretchy with beautiful sequins, and I always love their dramatic trains.”
Jana, a rising country star with her Thirty One album and “I Got the Boy” single, made quite the splash among the Nashville royalty at the event. Dressed to dazzle, she made People magazine’s “most jaw-dropping styles” list, alongside Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert and Jennifer Nettles.
For a little extra glitter in her ensemble, Jana accented her Galia Lahav creation with Stuart Weitzman heels, Swarovski clutch and jewelry by Sutra, Le Vian and Brumani. She definitely knows how to make an entrance!
